The idea of committing too early to pursuing an idea or accepting a project without weighing out the pros and cons. Without checking whether you are in fact, spreading yourself too thin. You wind up with more than needs to be on your plate because of this new idea that came to you when you were hyper at midnight way past your bedtime.
Then of course you abandon it, leaving behind you a trail of unfinished projects and dropped habits.
I don’t take new projects or habits lightly like in my younger days. These days I really consider it carefully because once I take it on, there should be no take backsies. No going back. That is true commitment, ain’t it?
